Horizons
Values Conference
Horizons is a weekend
conference for high school students. You’ll spend the weekend making new friends, catching up with old friends, discussing
ideas, issues and the things that are important to YOUR life. It’s not technically a “debate” conference,
but instead is a weekend for in-depth conversations, talking about what’s on YOUR mind, and just enjoying the magic that is any YIG conference! Activities include group
discussions, high ropes course, square dance, Bedlam Ball, talent show, and hanging out with friends.

What do your peers say about Horizons?
Horizons, more than any other conference (YIG or otherwise) makes you contemplate your relationships
to yourself and with others. Each year I am even more impressed with the thought-provoking issues that are presented.

I think Horizons is great
because it allows people from all over to come together and work as a team in small family groups. Horizons helps you see people from the December conference as people, and not some nebulous "opposition.”

There's nothing more spiritual than
reflecting with friends at Pretty Place. The only bad thing
about Horizons is leaving.
